UHCA October 2025 Meeting Recap

Our October community meeting featured informative updates from our elected officials on current local initiatives and upcoming projects.

There was an update on the status of the Brucker Education Center, including that the Community Coalition of UH was invited to be part of the selection committee making recommendations to the SDUSD Board of Trustees (stay tuned for more details in the next month).

The meeting also included an engaging presentation by Tyla Soylu on the proper ways to compost and recycle. Participants left with valuable tips to reduce waste and promote a cleaner, more sustainable neighborhood.
