University Heights Women’s Walk Subgroups & Events
Inviting all women to join the University Heights Women’s Walk Club (UHWWC)! How do you join? Easy. Just attend one of our events. If you’ve been thinking about checking us out, now’s the time because we have another great lineup of events for November.
Get ready for the upcoming holiday season with our Pie Picnic Swap on Sunday, November 9th, from 2-4 p.m. in Trolley Barn Park. We’ll spread out picnic style, taste pies, and enjoy our park in good company. Bring a pie to share, plus serving utensils, a chair, and a container for leftovers. Fall is a great time to clean out closets. Help us support sustainability with our Clothing Swap at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 15th, in Trolley Barn Park. Please bring 5 to 15 clean items in a bin or bag, separated by size and article of clothing. All sizes and styles are welcome!
Need a coffee break? We got you. Come walk with us to Marta, a new neighborhood coffee spot folks are buzzing about. Meet at Trolley Barn Park at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 21st.

What a wonderful way for our community to come together and celebrate the end of summer! UHWWC members gathered, brought food and drinks, and enjoyed the evening. Thank you to all the many people who made the night a success.
We enjoyed a beautiful tea and chán meditation at Fo Guang Shan Hsi Fang Temple. The Temple has tea practitioners who donate their time every Sunday from 2-3 p.m., if you’re interested in learning more.
We also met at the University Heights sign to walk to Tablespoon, a tiny shop offering curated pantry goods and kitchen tools, and Collins & Coupe right next door showcasing fabulous cocktail supplies and bar tools. We were happy to celebrate local vendors during their Third Thursday Market.
