Pet of the Month: Charlie

Charlie is an 11-year-old forever puppy with a heart of gold and a spirit that refuses to quit. This year, she faced the toughest challenge of her life: a cancer diagnosis. But in true Charlie fashion - with courage, tail wags, and the unwavering support of her people - she fought through treatment and is now in remission.

Charlie is back to doing what she does best: spreading joy, stealing soft blankets, celebrating the little things like sun spots on the floor and the sound of a snack bag crinkling. This brave girl loves walks around UH - especially down Madison Avenue where a kind neighbor leaves a fire hydrant of dog treats.

Every day with Charlie is a reminder of resilience, gratitude, and unconditional love. She’s not just a good dog - she’s a miracle on four paws!
