UHCA Relaunches 'Neighbors Helping Neighbors' Yard Support Program

During the pandemic, UHCA launched a program to help our most vulnerable neighbors with a helping hand from those who could assist, whether it was help around the house, getting medicines or groceries, or a take-out meal.

We’re excited to bring back that helping hand program and focus on neighbors who need help with their yards.

Do you have a neighbor who could use a helping hand with yard work or clean ups around their home? Maybe they are elderly, disabled, or simply overwhelmed with the tasks of maintaining their property.

Now is the time to nominate them for a bit of community support from our amazing Beautification Team!

As we head into the warmer months, many of us are gearing up for outdoor projects and sprucing up our yards. But for some, these tasks can be daunting and overwhelming. That’s where we can step in to lend a hand and make a difference in someone’s life. Whether it’s mowing the lawn, weeding the garden, trimming hedges, or cleaning up debris, a little bit of help can go a long way in improving someone’s living situation.

Together, we can create a supportive and caring environment where everyone looks out for one another. Nominate them today and let’s come together to make a difference. Together, we can create a stronger, more compassionate community where neighbors help neighbors.
