Celebrating Literacy, Local Spirit, and Library Love in UH
Autumn has begun, and the Friends of University Heights Library are ready to engage with the community to celebrate literacy, local spirit, and library love.
On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Friends will be tabling at the University Heights Fall Festival, which promises to be even more spectacular this year. Stop by the booth to learn more about upcoming library events, snag free giveaways, and connect with fellow book lovers. It’s a great chance to support the library while enjoying the festive atmosphere.
Don’t forget about these popular recurring events hosted by UH Library:
Maker Mondays — Monthly crafting sessions on the first Monday of each month. The next craft night will be Oct. 6 from 5 to 7pm.
Signing Storytime — Weekly signing stories with Miss Jennifer every Wednesday from 4:30 to 5 pm.
Let’s Play Thursdays! — Weekly playtime featuring stories, crafts, dancing, and songs every Thursday from 10 to 11am.
You can make a meaningful impact by joining the Friends of UH Library for only $10 annually. All membership dues and donations go directly toward funding programs, events, and resources that enrich our library and, by extension, our community. It’s a small contribution that helps keep big ideas growing. Sign up today at link.uhsd.org/libraryfriends.
