Originally from Ohio Deborah has lived in San Diego from 1976 -1997. After several career relocations she returned to University Heights, her ‘forever home’ in 2015. She has been keeping a watchful eye on the Vermont Street Pedestrian Bridge with other volunteers and actively spearheaded with MaryBeth Chruden city funding to clean up the canyon after a major fire in 2018.
Her 40-year career in escrow/title with First American Title included managing multiple CA county escrow divisions, the State of Hawaii and the nation including her corporate leadership in the creation of their nationwide software system. Deborah has served on several non-profit boards including San Diego and Sacramento County Escrow Associations and served as a director to the California Escrow Association. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and has volunteered for 6 years at the Neil Good Day Center run by Father Joe’s Villages.
Deborah uses her background, experiences, passion and love for our amazing University Heights Community helping to contribute to the health and ongoing success for all UH residents.
