Results of Uptown Priorities Poll: What University Heights Residents Value Most
During the late summer, early fall, the Uptown Community Planning Group (UCPG) conducted a survey to identify priorities. The survey was written up in the September edition of the UH News, social media, and other outreach. The results are in!
University Heights (UH) is divided by Park Blvd between two planning groups. To the west of Park is UCPG, and to the east is the North Park Community Planning Group (NPCPG). Here is how the respondents from UH responded to the UCPG survey:
Two major questions asked were – “What activities, places, or features do you like the most about any of the 6 neighborhoods of Uptown? And - How can Uptown be improved?”
Above are the results from the first question, “What do you like?” (Next month I’ll report on the second question).
The number of respondents from UH was small, but I think their responses give a good indication of residents’ feelings.
As you can see, Eat & Meet, Canyons, along with Existing Parks ranked the highest.
I think you will all agree with all of these!
