Native Plants Update: Supporting UH’s Green Spaces
Thanks to all of you who pitched in this year with your time, effort, and enthusiasm to continue transforming our neighborhood to support native plants and animals. In November we will plant more natives on Meade Avenue and also establish a new garden in the northwest corner of the Alice Birney joint use field. To fund the purchase of new plants, we are fundraising with a goal of $500. Please consider asking a family member, friend, or neighbor to donate. Donations will be matched by UHCA up to $500, making any donation more impactful. Also, if you are interested in joining me for in-person fundraising at the Alice Birney joint use field, please let me know and we can work together to ask our neighbors to donate.
