Lights in the Heights 2025 Winners

The UH community takes holiday lights very seriously... and you didn’t disappoint this year. Thanks to everyone who put in the time, effort, and energy to decorate their homes and businesses! UH never looked to great thanks to you!

66 displays were nominated (1.3x more than last year)… and 515 valid votes were cast (3x more than last year!). While this was a “contest,” the winners were all of UH for being a part of the most awesome and bright neighborhood! In that spirit, we are announcing the “best of the best” as voted on by your neighbors.

Full details by category, including runners-up, are shown below. We again thank everyone for being engaged and celebrating this UH tradition that helps bring us all together in the light.

A HUGE shout-out to Brian Lexmond & Greg Holzschuher at 818 Madison for winning Best Lights, Best Overall, and Children’s Choice.

Greg went all-out - the inflatable balloon on the roof, lighting the palm trees, adding Christmas trees and penguins and outlining the house in icicles- all done to perfection.

What really elevated this from a display to an event: delighting neighbors (especially the kiddos) with the addition of snow.

For going above and beyond, you earned not only the most votes in all of the categories, but you went all-out to bring joy to all ages in our neighborhood. THANK YOU from everyone in UH Brian and Greg!
