UHCA Beautification Team Welcomes New Leader, Danny Llamas
We’re excited to announce a new leader of our UHCA Beautification Team, Danny Llamas!
Danny has stepped up to take the place of the amazing long-time leader Jennifer Bishop who needs to step down to focus on her increased day-job duties. We cannot thank Jennifer enough for all that she has done – and will continue to do in the future for UH as a volunteer.
Danny has a ton of great ideas which include regular graffiti removal, monthly alley and street clean ups, as well as helping with general yard cleanup for some of our seniors or others in the neighborhood that may need a helping hand.
Keep an eye out on social media for our call for volunteers! Follow us @universityheights_sdcommunity on Instagram.
Whether you have a green thumb and want to help with native plants or simply want to pick up litter as part of our “trash talkers” team, there are plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved. By volunteering with our beautification team, you will not only be making a positive impact on our community but also fostering that sense of community with pride and ownership in our shared spaces. Together, we all contribute to creating a more beautiful and welcoming environment for all who live, learn, work, and visit here.
