Marc and his husband Jeffrey have been proud University Heights residents since 2012, moving here from Boston, originally from Chicago. They share their loft in the University Heights Village neighborhood with two dogs, Carson and Maddox. Marc is semi-retured after a 40-year career in the graphic arts industry having worked for companies like Scitex, Eastman Kodak, and HP. Jeffrey is an artist, primarily of abstract acrylics, and has shown works at Taste of UH and Concerts in the Park as well as other galleries and events in San Diego.

Since moving here, Marc has served as President of their 6-unit mixed-use HOA, and both Marc and Jeffrey have been active with the UH Park & Recreation and Open Space Advisory Group, with Marc serving as Chair from 2018-2023 where he successfully advocated for the UH Off-Leash Dog Park. Marc previously served as Vice President and President of UHCA from 2020-2023.

Marc’s goals for UHCA have been to grow the organization, implement technology improvements, increase transparency, enhance engagement, and help UHCA be the strong voice that our neighborhood needs in these times of increasing change.
