You are cordially invited to the University Heights Garden Club's Picklin' Party! Learn all about how to pickle and ferment your produce to make it last longer and improve gut biome health. Bring your garden grown veggies or pick up some from the grocery store! Bring 8oz or 16oz sanitized jars + lids with you and we will provide the rest.
We will be outside in a garden pickling veggies and will have several different types of brines + extra spices for you to work with. Simply cut up your veggies at our cutting stations, fill your jars with your cut produce and spices, then fill with whichever brines you'd like to try out.
We will have labels for each of your jars and will have a canning station if you'd like to can your veggies for long term preservation.
We will have extra mason jars for purchase if you don't pick any up ahead of time or need extras ($1-$2 per jar).
